Daily's Chromium Picolinate: There are a number of chromium supplements on the market including GTF chromium, chromium polynicotinate, and others. All of the better chromium supplements, including chromium picolinate, are in a trivalent chemical state. Chromium picolinate has the advantage of being hypoallergenic since there is no yeast. Furthermore, most of the chromium research has used the picolinate form of chromium. Chromium picolinate is the best researched and most reliable form available. *Caution: Because chromium can increase insulin sensitivity, this may alter insulin requirements in diabetics.
