Description

BetaKids™ is a blend of natural ingredients for children that helps them have healthy immune systems and promotes optimal mental and physical development. Each box contains 30 fruit flavored gummy supplement lozenges that can be chewed, swallowed or dissolved in the mouth. Xylitol and erythritol are sweeteners that promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms in the mouth and may protect against tooth decay. Beta 1.3 D Glucan provides high quality immune cell-stimulating beta glucan from the cell wall of Saccromyces cerevisiae. BetaKids™ provides a safe but effective dose of high quality L-methionine. Beta Glucan 50 mg stimulates the immune system to produce interleukin-6 and activate important immune responses needed to combat infection in injury, but appears to have little if any stimulatory effect on most inflammation. Vitamin D 10 mcg (400IU)is a multifunctional nutrient with many hormone like actions. It is critical for bone development, mental and cardiovascular health and even helps with energy metabolism. It is critical for the activation of the immune cells known as T-cells. This is for both helper T-cells and cytotoxic T-cells making vitamin D important for most aspects of immunity. Selenium 15 mcg is essential for at least 25 selenoproteins (mostly enzymes) in the body and especially important for thyroid action and for overall immune health. Each lozenge is individually packaged in a blister card and the cards are placed in a display box. The blister packaging makes it difficult for children to remove the lozenge from the packaging, reducing the chances of them taking more than the recommended dose.
